Hes on a mission to raise awareness about waste created by disposable products and out-of-control consumption. The goal? To see a 75 percent or more reduction in the amount of human made waste heading out to landfill and sea. Around the time the Plastiki docked today, 11,245 people had pledged to reduce their waste.Outside caught up with de Rothschild before he set sail.
